Charles Henry Cowley

Although Charles Henry descends from the farming side of the Cowley family, it seems that he did not follow in his father’s occupation.  In the 1871 census he is listed as ‘driving a milk van’, but in later censuses he is variously a ‘greengrocer’ and ‘printer’s book keeper ‘.
