The Great Tugwell Mystery - Even Sherlock Holmes would have struggled!

I have long been puzzled by the marriages of  my great grandfather, Francis Cowley (b abt 1837), and the birth dates of his children.  The mystery is now solved - Francis was actually married three times and not twice as I had originally believed.  The research complication was that he twice married women with the name ‘Mary Ann Tugwell’.  The first was born a ‘Tugwell’ and the second was born a ‘Hart’ and first married a ‘Tugwell’.  (Census documents all showed the wife’s name as Mary Ann so I assumed it was the same person.)  Who said family history research wasn’t fun!
